Family Park is a modern leisure park on the Ring Road side of New Cairo, in the Fifth Settlement area. It was built as a green space for the city’s fast-growing eastern suburbs and has become one of the most popular weekend destinations for families with children.

What to see and do

Besides lawns and shaded seating, the park has plenty to do. Typical attractions include playgrounds for different ages, a small animal farm and petting area, a climbing and adventure zone, bicycle and go-kart tracks, a mini train and an open-air theatre that hosts events in the holidays. Cafes and food outlets are scattered throughout.

  • Let children try the adventure and play areas.
  • Cycle around the park on rental bikes.
  • Check the events calendar for shows during Eid and school holidays.
