EGYPES 2027 – Egypt Energy Show
Event
The next edition of EGYPES, the Egypt Energy Show, is provisionally listed for 29 to 31 March 2027 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. The event combines a large exhibition of oil, gas, power and renewable-energy companies with a strategic conference featuring Egyptian ministers and international energy executives. It is a professional trade event: exhibition-floor badges are free for qualified industry visitors who register online, while conference passes are paid. Business visitors should book hotels in New Cairo or Heliopolis early, as show week is busy. The 2027 dates come from a trade-show listing and had not been confirmed on the official site at the time of research.
Dates: expected (based on previous years; confirm nearer the time).
What to expect
The exhibition halls are laid out by sector, with national pavilions alongside stands from producers, contractors, equipment makers and service companies. The conference runs in parallel, with ministerial sessions, panel debates and technical talks.
Most visitors are engineers, managers, investors, government officials and suppliers looking for partners in the Egyptian and wider regional market. Many companies arrange meetings in advance, so it pays to contact exhibitors before the show.
Tickets and getting there
Bring photo identification to collect your badge on arrival.
The Egypt International Exhibition Center sits on the eastern edge of New Cairo, well away from the city centre. The simplest way to get there is by taxi or ride-hailing app; allow plenty of time, as journeys from Downtown, Zamalek or Giza can take an hour or more at busy times. Agree a pick-up point with your driver when you leave, as the roads around the halls get congested in the late afternoon.
Planning tips
- Late March is usually pleasant in Cairo, with warm days and cooler evenings, so a light jacket is useful.
- Business dress is the norm on the exhibition floor and in conference sessions.
- Wait for confirmation on the official website before booking non-refundable travel.
