EGYPES 2026 – Egypt Energy Show

This event has ended. The next edition is EGYPES 2027 – Egypt Energy Show, 29–31 Mar 2027 (expected).

EGYPES is North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean’s leading energy exhibition and conference, held under the patronage of the Egyptian presidency and organised by dmg events with the Ministry of Petroleum. The 2026 edition ran from 30 March to 1 April at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, bringing together ministers, oil and gas majors, service companies and a growing renewables and hydrogen section. It is a trade event: visitors register in advance online, and conference passes are sold separately from free exhibition-floor badges for qualified industry professionals. Hotels in New Cairo and Heliopolis fill up quickly in show week, so business travellers should book early. A 2027 edition is provisionally listed for late March 2027.

What to expect

The exhibition halls are laid out by sector, with national pavilions alongside stands from producers, contractors, equipment makers and service companies. The conference runs in parallel, with ministerial sessions, panel debates and technical talks. Agreements and investment announcements are often made during show week.

Most visitors are engineers, managers, investors, government officials and suppliers looking for partners in the Egyptian and wider regional market. Many companies arrange meetings in advance, so it pays to contact exhibitors before the show.

Getting there

The Egypt International Exhibition Center sits on the eastern edge of New Cairo, well away from the city centre. The simplest way to get there is by taxi or ride-hailing app; allow plenty of time, as journeys from Downtown, Zamalek or Giza can take an hour or more at busy times. Agree a pick-up point with your driver when you leave, as the roads around the halls get congested in the late afternoon.

• Late March is usually pleasant in Cairo, with warm days and cooler evenings.
• Business dress is the norm on the exhibition floor and in conference sessions.
• Bring photo identification to collect your badge.
• Wear comfortable shoes, as the halls are large.
