What to see
After a long period of decline, the park was redeveloped and reopened with restored lawns, walking paths around the lake, mature trees and a cluster of restaurants and cafes. It is a good place to watch everyday Cairo life, and the Belgian-era buildings of Heliopolis are within walking distance.
What to do
- Walk around the lake and relax under the trees.

- Combine the visit with the Baron Empain Palace and the arcades of Korba.
