Parasailing with hotel transfer

You are towed behind a boat under a parachute and lifted up to about 20 metres above the water, with a wide view of the Hurghada coast.

After hotel pickup the crew gives a safety briefing at the marina, then you fly solo or tandem, depending on the option you book and the weather. No experience is needed.

Flights depend on the wind, so the time may change on the day.

Who it suits

Parasailing is a good first taste of flying for almost anyone. It needs no skills or strength, as you are strapped into a harness and the boat does the work. It suits couples and friends who want a short burst of excitement, and it fits easily into a beach day.

What to bring

• Swimwear or light clothes that can get wet
• Sunscreen and sunglasses with a strap, or leave them on the boat
• A towel
• A waterproof case or strap if you want to take your own phone up, at your own risk
• Cash for tips and for photos, which are not included

Good to know

Pickup is from your hotel between 11:00 and 16:00, and the whole outing takes about two hours with transfers. The flight itself is a short part of that time.

Flights depend on the wind. Very calm days and very windy days can both delay or stop flights, which is why times can change. Late morning and the afternoon often have the steadiest breeze.

You usually take off from and land on the boat, so you may stay dry. Tandem flights are a good way for a parent and child to fly together; ask Egy Trip about weight limits and minimum ages when you book.
