Private fishing trip by speedboat (4 hours)

A private speedboat takes your group out to fishing spots off Hurghada, chosen by the captain for the day's conditions and the local rules.

Rods and tackle are provided, and the captain shows beginners how to fish. Water, life jackets and fuel are included; meals and other drinks are not.

The price is for the boat. As with any fishing trip, a catch is not guaranteed.

Who it suits

This trip suits small groups, families and friends who want a relaxed morning or afternoon on the water with a fishing rod. Beginners are welcome, as the captain helps with the tackle, and experienced anglers can enjoy a private boat without a crowd.

What to bring

Good to know

Pickup is from your hotel at about 08:00 or 12:00, and the trip lasts four hours. The morning usually has calmer water, as the wind tends to pick up on the Red Sea in the afternoon.

The Red Sea has strict rules to protect its reefs and marine life, so the captain chooses where and how you can fish. Some species are protected, and the captain will tell you which fish should be released.

The boat is small and can move quite a lot when the sea is choppy. If you get seasick, take something before you set off. Life jackets are on board, and children are welcome if they can sit patiently for a while.
